What can i say. The fighting scene was marvelous, superb and job well-done. The killing and the sword/pedang scene was choreograph so good that i feel sorry for the bad guy that being stabbed .. seriously awesome job KRU guy.
But the story and the long chit-chat, aiseh... quite "down" sikitlah. The scene during Merong gave the speech before they start going to the big fight make me almost feel asleep... yes... almooost!!. Actually I'm comparing it with the scene of LOTR during Aragon's speech to the "tentera berkuda" before they went to war. The feeling is not the same.
Anyhow this is the first time that i've gone to the cinema and watched our local production. yess... Because I always value my money versus what the movie give in return. Compared to Hollywood film that spend 100M with local production , for sure the quality will not be the same. It's not that I'm being less patriotic, but our local film always produces the same file genre and the technology used behind it is not up to the mark. Come on guys, i need more...
